The First Similar Alien Artwork
The 3’4″ x 2’6″ painting titled PETS was the inaugural piece in the “Similar Alien” series. Initially, it belonged to an art collection known as “What Songs Look Like.” This series visually narrated the stories behind the songs we cherish. PETS was inspired by a track from Porno for Pyros. The artwork featured displayed lyrics alongside sets of headphones, allowing viewers to listen to the song while engaging with the lyrics and the painting. It was well-received, sparking a flow of alien-themed art ideas that led to the creation of more pieces in the series.
